Landscaping for the Future

At Meadowscaping for Biodiversity, our mission is to create beautiful and functional native plant gardens that enhance the lives of our clients. Perennial native plants have deep roots that soak up stormwater, sequester carbon, help cool the Earth, require less maintenance and water than lawn, thus providing relief from imminent climate issues and restoring lost biodiversity.

"In the past, we have asked one thing of our gardens: that they be pretty. Now they have to support life, sequester carbon, feed pollinators and manage water."

Doug Tallamy, Chair and Department Head of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology, University of Delaware, Newark, DE

“It's an amazing concept and project. A teacher in our group may have some students, or know of past ones, who were interested in her garden program and who might love to be a part of something like this.”

We'd love to feature your project on the FriendsofHoneybees.NET site ... as part of our Life Supports Life (Braided Worlds) and Thank a Bee (k) initiatives, which are getting started.  Getting a mix of young people, native plants enthusiasts/nurseries/authors/eco-designers, etc. in public settings like the one in Waltham, is perfect and integrates the stories of how we can all take steps to re-weave respect  for Nature's balanced habitats back into our lives and communities.
  Thanks! N'ann
